2012 Mark Mellon Memorial Triathlon:

  • This race was the first triathlon in Michigan and has run more years than any other triathlon in the state. It's in a beautiful location, held during the nicest time of the year in Michigan.
  • The county park is very well kept and has plenty of room for those that would like to stay less than 100 yards from transition.

  • The swim is in Otsego Lake.
  • The bike is challenging with the first/last 6 or so miles being mostly flat and the middle portion having some good sized hills.
  • The run is flat and fast.
