2011 Dickson Endurance Triathlon & Iron Nugget Sprint:
A unique "endurance" distance triathlon being held at Montgomery Bell State Park just outside Dickson, TN.
Swim 1 Mile, Bike 34.2 Miles, Run 9.3 Miles.
USAT Sanctioned & USAT Certified Race Director.
Performance shirts & hats and awards highlighted with Tifosi Eyewear.

In addition to Age Group (min. 3 deep or 10%) and Relay awards, we're adding Team / Club Awards for 2011. Race for your team / club with top 5 male or top 3 female times added for each team / club going 3 deep.

SWIM - 1 mile - The swim takes place in Acorn Lake - meaning no current, no large swells and warm water. Water temperatures may exceed 78 degrees so the decision on whether wetsuits are allowed takes place race morning.
BIKE - 38 miles - The bike is a flat to rolling bike course that is perfect for athletes of all abilities. Athletes will complete 2 laps with a water bottle exchange at half-way point.
RUN - 15 kilometers - The run is a challenging course using park roads and golf course cart paths with aid stations each mile.

Directions From Interstate 40:
Take Exit 182 (Fairview/Dickson Hwy. 96).
Turn to go West on Hwy. 96.
Stay on Hwy. 96 until it deadends at Hwy. 70.
Turn right (East) on Hwy. 70, off-ramp provided.
Stay on Hwy. 70 approximately 3 miles.
Main Park Entrance is on the right.
