Duathlon : Trail Run 4 miles, Road Bike 16 miles, Run 2 miles

All Run trails will be marked with a flourescent green tape.

This is Not an easy course and should not be attempted by beginners.

Course Information:

First Run leg is a 4 mile trail run, following the Loop Trail around the park, the trail is mainly flat with some interesting features, stay away from the CACTUS....

The Bike route is a 16 mile ROAD BIKE route on FM965 towards HWY 16 with the turnaround at HWY 16. The road is nicely paved but does have CATTLE GUARDS. You need to use CAUTION going over these. Always keep to your right and use caution especially. These are rural roads with narrow shoulders and the occasional pothole.

Route will be marked with yellow Signs at every mile. There will be 2 Traffic policeman located at the pavilion entrance and at the turnaround.

The second Run leg course will be a 2 mile loop that will be on trail, paved road, and rock, that will have you finish on the ROCK. .
