Welcome to the 6th Annual BEAR LAKE BRAWL Triathlon, a Gold Medal Racing
event! Get your competitive juices flowing as you take on your fellow
competitors in a beautiful setting along the shores of Bear Lake. Both
Sprint and Olympic distances are offered. A great event to start off
your late summer celebrations. Bring the whole family for a great time! Olympic

requires all participants to either have a 1-Day membership with them
$10 included in your registration fee or a $40 Annual Membership with
them that saves you $10 off each USAT Sanctioned event . All Annual
USAT members must show their Annual Card or pay the $10 day fee prior to
picking up their race packet. Photo ID will be required of all
participants at packet pick-up as well. No one can pick up for another

Sprint/Olympic EARLY REGISTRATION - $70.00 until June 17th, Regular

participants.Swim6Sprint -- 750 meters; Olympic -- 1500 meters; Half --
1.2Miles. Triangular course marked with yellow/orange buoys. Waist deep
start; Depth of swim never exceeds more than 7-8 feet and the water is
crystal clear (excellent for beginners!) Water temperatures will be in
the upper 60's, so wetsuits are highly recommended. Course will be
guarded with personal watercraft and boats, and swim will be separated
in groups no larger than 100 swimmers to ensure your safety. See
webpage for details.Bike7Sprint: 12.4 miles, Olympic: 24.8 miles, Half:
56 miles. The bike course is a gorgeous course with rolling hills and
some flats that travels along the east shores of the lake. This course
is challenging but forgiving and is likely to give you PR times.

and details.Run8Sprint: 5k, Olympic 10k, Half 13.1 Miles. The run
course is through the campground on paved surfaces and along an
untraveled dirt road surrounded with vegetation, making for a very
unique, spectator/family friendly course. Aid Stations will be set up
for particpants at miles 1 and 2, as well as near the transition area
for the sprint distance, Miles 1,2, 4, and 5 for the Olympic distance.

be every 2 miles on the Half Run start Mile 2. There will be a
restroom at Mile 4 and 8. There will be extra fuel at the Half Distance

available in Rendezvous Beach State Park to put you and your family
right in the middle of the action! There are other bed and breakfast

Lake Brawl Triathlon is a great FAMILY FRIENDLY event. Bring the whole
family to cheer you on as you compete against your fellow racers. Many
fun activities are being planned, including pre-reserved camp sites at
Rendezvous Beach, on the run course for great cheering! Awards will be
given 3 deep in each age group category as well as top 3 men and women

Brawl Triathlon.State Park Fees12The Bear Lake State Park charges a $8
entrance fee to enter the park. We have arranged for all volunteers to
enter the park for free on race day. We recommend everyone to carpool
to avoid the extra fee or go with a volunteer. Parking is limited as
well. We will pre-charge the $8 fee at packet pickup if you choose.
