2012 XTERRA Panther Creek Off Road Triathlon:
Join in the excitement and challenge that is XTERRA at the Panther Creek State Park, Morristown, TN.
This XTERRA points series event helps participants earn their way to the USA Championship event in Ogden, UT.
Enjoy a pre -event cookout Saturday night & free camping.
Don't miss your chance to hit the trails and get dirty!
Packet Pick-up & on-site registration - Sunday, July 29th 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM
IPICO timing chips distributed race morning.

Course Info:

Swim:
Swim is two (2) laps of clear & clean Cherokee Lake.
Each lap is 400 yards.
Bike:
Mountain bike is also a two loop course.
Aid station available at the half way point.
Run:
Run features aid approx. each mile and cooling jump into the lake after finish!
Chip Timing:
Timing chips will be distributed race morning.

Directions:

Directions From West on I-40:
Travel through Knoxville and take Exit 394 (Hwy. 11E North).
Go about 35 miles to left at BP Gas Station onto Panther Creek Rd.
Approx. 2.5 miles to right on boat ramp road to race site.
Directions From North on I-81:
Take Exit 12 (Hwy 160).
Travel North on 160 to Hwy. 11E,
Turn right and then take the next left at BP Station.
Directions From Gatlinburg:
Get on I-40 East and take Exit 417 (Hwy. 92).
Travel toward Jefferson City.
At the light, turn right (Hwy. 11E North).
Left at BP Station – noted above.
