2009 will be the third running of the Duck Bill Thrill Olympic Triathlon hosted by the University of Oregon Triathlon Team at the beautiful Fall Creek Reservoir 20 minutes southeast of Eugene, Oregon.
Following the race there will be a post-race meal and refreshments provided.
All finishers will receive a ribbon.
Prizes donated by our event sponsors will be awarded to division and relay winners. In addition, there will be a raffle drawing for merchandise donated by our sponsors.

200 athletes are expected to compete in this USA Triathlon sanctioned event.
Timing will be by electronic chip and the results from this race will count toward USAT national rankings.

The open water swim is a 750 meter triangular course which athletes will loop twice.
The bike follows a spectacular route featuring birch shaded creeks, historical covered bridges and pastoral countryside.
The run is a scenic out and back, mostly flat with a few rollers. The run crosses over the Fall Creek Dam, offering amazing views of the valley and lake.

From Eugene, Oregon take I-5 South.
Take Exit 188A onto Willamette Hwy/OR-58. Travel 13.5 miles, turn left onto Jasper-Lowell Rd.
Follow Jasper-Lowell Rd through the town of Lowell as it turns left and then right.
Continue to follow Jasper-Lowell Rd. Turn right onto Big Fall Creek Rd, drive 0.4 miles.
Turn right onto Winberry Creek Rd drive 1 mile.
Turn left into Winberry Park.
