Become a triathlete in 60 minutes flat! The Miami Recreation Indoor Triathlon is a challenge for everyone from seasoned triathletes to first-timers because you set your own pace. All the action takes place in one convenient, weatherproof location Miami University's Rec Center.
There will be Heres how this one-hour race against the clock breaks down:
20-minute swim in the lap pool
20-minute bike ride in the fitness center
20-minute run on the 1/8 mile track
There will be a 10 minute transtion period after the swimming portion and a 5 minute transtion period following the biking portion.
Performance is measured by the distance covered in each of the three legs. The more distance you cover, the higher your score.
All participants will receive swim caps for use during the race, plus an Indoor Triathlon Series T-shirt. In order to participate, you must be 12 years of age or older.
