  • The Apple Duathlon is one of the best run races in the country. It has even hosted Duathlon National Championships.
  • The 2009 race will be one of three World qualifiers for NC.

    • Course Information:

  • The course opens with a 5km run with a nice hill right out of the chute. The rest is completely flat.
  • The bike course is much like the run. Some sections with hills but a lot of the course is completely flat.
  • The second 5km is the same loop as the first.
  • It is a wonderful course which has something for everyone.

  • Following the race you can fill yourself on all the goodies and fountain pop and head inside the Middle School for a hot shower and indoor awards ceremony.
