Description: 2009 Optimist Sprint Triathlon:
  • Family friendly atmosphere. Competitive but yet a great race to begin tri racing.
  • Offers free first timers class on Friday evening before the race.
  • A not for profit Optimist Club sponsors this race so all proceeds are used to sponsor kids events in the area.
  • A well run event with experienced organizers.
  • Awards by age groups and teams.
  • Door Prizes for most participants.
  • Great food free for participants after race.
  • Scenic venue Run is in woods along a creek.

    • 3.5 mile Bike
    Directions:
  • About 100 miles east south east of Chicago, just off of US highway 30 at Warsaw exit.
  • 5 miles west of Ft. Wayne on US 30.
