2011 StumpTown Triathlon & Duathlon - Sunday Events:

AA Sports is excited to have the opportunity to bring an Olympic distance Triathlon and Duathlon to its series of races in the Portland area.

The StumpTown Triathlon & Duathlon offers a course that is safe with little traffic.

The flat and fast bike course covers three loops on Marine Drive - a beautifully paved road that hugs the mighty Columbia River that will be closed to all but local traffic for the event.

This local traffic is to the marinas and the twelve private residences along the route that are accessed at two points only with the farthest driveway being less than 12 mile away.

Many participants may never even see a car during the bike portion of the event.

Directions:

Blue Lake Park is located 15 miles east of downtown Portland, OR.

Take I-84 east to the Fairview Exit (exit #14).

Follow the signs to Blue Lake Park.
