The course is challenging with rolling hills on the bike and run. The swim is the only flat section. The bike consist of 9700 ft of climbing but the scenery is to die for. Possibly the toughest course in the world. Temperature this time of the year averages 70-80 and the water temp is 68-74 degrees.

Directions to the start of the race: Take SR 93/95 North, after you pass the Hoover Damm you will turn right into the entrance of the Lake Mead Park. Heminging Way Harbor is the start loaction.
