Presented by Arkansas Children's Hospital, the Little Rockers Kids
Marathon encourages children (ages 7 to 12) to become more physically
fit by following a fun running and/or walking program. The goal is for
each child to complete at least 25.2 miles prior to race day. Then
finish their marathon by running their final mile on the official Little
Rock Marathon course in front of family, friends and thousands of
spectators.

Marathon is an event that gives children, ages 7-12, the opportunity to
complete a modified marathon over an extended period of time. Kids
complete 25.2 miles prior to race day using the Little Rockers Kids
Marathon Training Program. On March 3, 2012, they run the last mile.
The mission of the Little Rockers Kids Marathon is to provide
participants ages 7-12 with the opportunity to enhance their physical
activity while focusing on reaching a goal.
