2011 Fairpoint Great Race Triathlon- Duathlon:

  • 1,2,3 or 4 person teams. Ironman, Iron-woman, first timers, elite and every combination in between.
  • Excellent family event.
  • Course is closed to vehicle traffic.
  • 31 categories.
  • 300 awards.
  • Dri-fit tee shirts to first 500.
  • Fireworks that night.
  • Come see why this is The Great Race.

    • Course Information:


  • 5k run, very flat, contours lake Champlain.
  • Easy 12 mile bike closed to vehicle traffic. Let it roll.
  • Paddle (canoe or kayak) 3 miles. Generally flat course.

    • Directions:


    From I-89
  • Take exit 19 St Albans.
  • Proceed north on rte 7.
  • Turn left (west) on rte 36 (also Lake Street).
  • Follow to waters edge, bear right, park on your left.
