If you don’t know much about Tour de Cure, this will be our second year at Lakewood Ranch and we recruit riders locally from Tampa Bay down to Naples, and we also have some riders come join us from other parts of the country! Tour de Cure is the American Diabetes Association’s signature cycling and the largest cycling event for diabetes in the country! Tour de Cure is held in over 80-cities nationwide. The Tour de Cure is about changing the future of diabetes. Diabetes is America’s fastest growing disease and affects over 25 million Americans.
Tour de Cure is an inspirational and exciting event, not only for the experienced cyclist, but also for employees, friends and families who desire to make a difference in their local community. With several different cycling routes available (10, 35, 62, and 100 miles), it’s a great event for groups both large and small to ride their bikes towards a cure for diabetes!
