2011 Tri For Life - Albany, Oregon
The 2nd Annual Tri For Life triathlon is a GREAT race for beginners and intermediate triathletes. The swim portion of the race is at South Albany Community Pool. The bike portion rides through flat country roads and transitions into the run throughout the surrounding neighborhood.
We have a wide variety of raffle prizes, along with a great children's activity area so bring the entire family!
Registration closes, Sunday, August 7th. There will be no race day registration. Join us and register today!
The Tri for Life benefits Options Pregnancy Resource Centers which has been helping women in the community for the past 25 years.
Course Information:
500 yard Swim - South Albany Community Pool - Race starts at 8:00am. Heats and starting times will be assigned week before race. Starting times are based on swim time
12 mile Bike - Flat paved country roads
3 mike run - Neighborhood streets
The course is clearly marked and will have volunteers postitioned throughout to assist and point athletes in the right direction.

In addition to the Tri For Life triathlon there will be a Laps For Life Walkathon. There is no cost to participate in the Laps For Life. Join us!
Prizes will be awarded for the Top 3 Pledge earners. Prizes include;

- $250 Gift Certificate towards a new bicycle at Corvallis Cyclery
- $150 Gift Certificate at Fred Meyer
Everyone participating in the Tri For Life or Laps For Life will have an opportunity to win prizes. Earn one ticket with your participation. Additional tickets are earned through raising pledges. Each $!00 in pledges equals one ticket. Prizes include items and gift certificates to places like:
