2012 James O'Rourke Triathlon:

  • Perfect for an early season fitness test for experienced triathletes or for athletes giving triathlon a tri!
  • 3 days of triathlons!
  • First event in the 2012 Platte River Fitness Series!

    • Course Information:


  • Pool swim (short course).
  • Residential and rural bike, mostly flat with a few hills.
  • Flat and fast run.

    • Directions:


  • West exit for North Platte off I-80.
  • Go north to Francis Street.
  • Turn left and follow Francis to the Recreation Center.


    Parking:
  • The main parking lot is on the northeast side of the Rec. Center.

    Saturday Triathlon:

    • Saturday Races: Relay and Competitive sprint triathlon.
    • The second day of a 3 day triathlon weekend.
    • Fitness division the following day and children's triathlon the day before.
    • 500 yd pool swim, 14 mile bike, 5K run.
    • Positive, fun environment
