EACH RELAY MEMBER MUST COMPLETE A SEPARATE ENTRY FORM and PAY THE RELAY TEAM REGISTRATION FEE WAIVERS WILL BE SIGNED AT PACKET PICK-UP.
Course Information:
Sumner Lake State Park, near Fort Sumner, NM. Transition will be at the group shelter, near the main boat ramp parking area on the west side of the lake. The swim will be 400 meters in the open water and wet suits will be allowed. The 15 mile bike ride will be on the paved road around the lake, over the dam, to NM Highway 60, and back to the transition area. The 3.1 mile (5K) run will start from the transition area at group shelter and then onto paved roads from the lake and out towards Puerto de Luna. This will be one of the most scenic triathlons in New Mexico.

This triathlon is a fundraiser for the Fox and Vixen Athletic Program in Fort Sumner. As of March 2011, the Foxes are the 2010 State 1A football champions, the Vixens are the 2011 1A basketball champions, and the Foxes and the Vixens are currently the 2010 1A track champions.
