This triathlon is dedicated to the memory of Major Robert Rogers and his Independent Company of Rangers.  Based on Rogers Island at Fort Edward, NY during the French & Indian War, these brave and gallant men fought and died on the very ground upon which the triathlon will take place.

Course Information:

Run over Buck Mountain from the Hogtown trailhead to the Fort Ann beach on Lake George, canoe/kayak along the east shore of Lake George and bike through Washington County to arrive at Rogers Island Visitors Center in Fort Edward.

Directions:

Race begins at the Buck Mountain Hogtown trailhead parking lot.  Directions: From Route 9 take Route 149 to Buttermilk Falls Road.  Turn left on Buttermilk Falls Road and continue approx. 10 miles to Hogtown trailhead parking lot.  Note:  Buttermilk Falls Road becomes Shelving Rock Lane -- continue straight ahead.  DO NOT TURN RIGHT ON HOGTOWN ROAD.
