Stop Diabetes
Tour de Cure is marking its 20th Anniversary this year, so help us make an even bigger impact. In twenty years we've raised millions of dollars to fund research, provide services, and give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. We have accomplished much, but as the number of Americans diagnosed with diabetes continues to rise, our mission becomes even more critical. Every dollar you raise and every mile you ride helps the American Diabetes Association in the effort to Stop Diabetes.
EVENT INFORMATION
We are very excited about a NEW VENUE for Tour 2011-- we'll be starting and finishing at St. Vincent's One Nineteen facility. Check out our NEW AND IMPROVED Century Route (103 miles-- our century riders are going the extra mile(s) for diabetes!) Or you can download and view our CUE SHEET.
Routes: We have all new routes this year! We will ride from the beautiful St. Vincent's One Nineteen Health and Wellness facility down HWY 119 to Leeds and pick up some of your favorite rural roads and scenic sights from years past. The 25K-103 mile is an out and back style route with a loop for the century riders. The route travels from 119 to Leeds, Odenville, Ashville and back on some of Shelby and St. Clair Countys most scenic country roads. You spoke and we listened-- check out our new CONDENSED start times! And... You will have a hard time finding a flatter ride in the Birmingham metro area.
