2011 Carl Hart Carl Hart Mothers Day Duathlon Race Course:


RUN 2 Miles
  • Road and trail run in the park.

    BIKE 10.5 Miles: (3) loops
  • On the park road that will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the event.
  • Bikes allowed: Road bike, time trial, mountain bike, hybrid or beach cruiser. (Sorry, no tandem or recumbent bikes!)

    RUN 2 Miles
  • Road and trail run in the park (same as the first run).
  • There will be a water stop at the beginning of this run.

    • Directions:


  • Hecksher Park is located at the end of the Heckscher State Parkway.
  • 50 miles from Manhattan.
  • On the south shore of Long Island.
