2011 University of Akron Spring Sprint Triathlon: Wanna Tri?:

The University of Akrons Annual Spring Sprint Triathlon will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2011 at the Ocasek Natatorium beginning at 8AM.

The race will consist of a 500 yard pool swim, a 12-mile stationary bike ride, and a 5K outdoor run on the UA track.

Participants will be assigned a heat based on their individual 500 yard swim time.

Participants may enter on an individual basis or on a 2 or 3 person relay team.

Course Information:

500 yard indoor pool swim (1-person per lane, counters provided)

12 mile indoor bike (minimum resistance level of 5 required throughout bike portion)

3.0 mile outdoor run (2-lap course through Akron campus)
