Unlike other Triathlons, ours begins and ends in the same location at Bellbrook Canoe Rental, you park your car, bike racks, canoes, all in the same location. Canoes are laid out for you on the ground. If you enter and choose to use your own canoe or kayak, we do haul them back to you for no additional charge.

RACE UPDATE:

From the race director: I regret that I am going to have to cancel the April 30th, Bellbrook Triathlon. We have had massive flooding here in Ohio, and my canoe livery where this event was being held was under 3 feet of water, we will not have it cleaned up in time, or the river opened back up for the canoe leg of the race, lots of trees went down in the river, and it will take a couple of weeks to clear them.

Course Information:

Starting at Bellbrook Canoe you enter the river from a gentle sloping area, paddle for 4 miles and exit in the same manner, no high banks to climb, no dragging the canoe, you get out and we take care of the canoe, you start a semi flat 3.4 mile run( we call it 4 miles for t-shirt purposes) back to the canoe livery, where you will start the bike portion which consist of two 8 mile loops, starting with a hard climb, and because its a loop, you guessed it, you have to do it twice. Here's the good news the last 3 miles is down hill, lets review: hard climb, semi flat to rolling hills, down hill, great bike course.

We also put on two additional Triathlons in June and September and the bike course does change for them, trying to keep you guys on your toes
