Before the race participants will check in, be assigned a bib number and attend the mandatory safety meeting. Volunteers will then escort you to the pool to start your heat.
Swimmers will start every 15-30 seconds at the shallow end of the pool and will snake up and down the lap lanes until they finish in the last lap lane (total of 14 lengths of the SSYMCA pool). After the swim the participants will proceed to the transition area (road between Arongen and SSY) for the bike and run events.
Course Information:
The swim is a snake swim inside the branch, the bike/run course it throughout the town of Clifton Park, maps are available.
Directions:
Take I-87 to Exit 9
Take Route 146 W to second traffic light, turn left at traffic light onto Clifton Country Road. Turn right onto Wall STreet. The YMCA is at the end of Wall Street.
