2011 Cotton States Triathlon:
Course Information:
- 1/4 mile swim in Lake Providence
- 20 mile bike course through scenic country highways
- 5k run out and back on public roads.
Directions:
- From Vicksburg/Jackson area - take 1-20 West to the Tallulah/Vidalia Exit, take US Hwy 65 North to Lake Providence (approximate 30 miles north).
- From Shreveport/Monroe area take I-20 East to the Tallulah/Vidalia Exit, then turn onto US Hwy 65 North to Lake Providence (approximate 30 miles north).
Other Info:
- This event is sponsored by the Lake Providence Junior Auxiliary and is a major fund raiser for the chapter
- It assists in funding the many service projects for the betterment of the children of East Carroll Parish.
