2011 Sherwood Island Sprint Triathlon:

  • Sign up for the inaugural Targetraning Sherwood Island Sprint Triathlon!
  • The race will be held at beautiful Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, CT.
  • Sherwood Island is Connecticuts oldest state park and has some of the best beaches on Long Island.

    • Course Information:


  • Half mile open water swim in Long Island Sound.
  • The 13 mile bike course will take you on a tour of Westports beachside communities.
  • The 5K run will be held entirely within the state park.

  • Sherwood Island is a great spot for the whole family, come for the race and then stay all day.
  • A portion of race proceeds will go to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center - Pediatrics Dept.
