2011 seekonk just du it duathlon:

this race is put on by rhode island multisport. the race will be held on the grounds of the newman ymca in seekonk,ma.

prizes are awarded to all winners in their age group. there will also be a raffle.

t-shirts will be given to the first 200 participants.

Rules: All USAT rules will be followed and strictly enforced.

Drafting is not allowed and will be monitored by roving motorcycles.

Areo bars and disks are approved.

All participants must be at least 16 years of age.

Course Information:

the first 3 mile run is basically flat with a slight incline the first mile into the run.

the bike ride is through the country side of seekonk and has some small hills.

the final 2 mile run is flat and fast with a downhill to the finish line.

From Providence and points south

Exit 19 to merge onto I-195 E/US-6 toward US-6 E/E Providence/Cape Cod

Take exit 4 for US-44 E/Taunton Ave

Merge onto U.S. 44 E

Slight left at Hall St

Continue onto U.S. 44 E/Taunton Ave

From Boston and points north

Take exit 2A to merge onto Massachusetts 1A S/US-1 Alt S/Newport Ave

Continue to follow US-1 Alt S/Newport Ave

Slight left at Pawtucket Ave

Turn left at Newman Ave

Turn right at Arcade Ave

Turn left at U.S. 44 E/Taunton Ave
