2011 Housatonic Valley Triathlon:

  • Candlewood Lake is an awesome place for this event and all transitions will be on the beach!.
  • A huge live music and awards party to follow the race.
  • Expect a fast course with thousands of fans cheering you on.

    Swim:
  • Quarter mile open water swim in Candlewood Lake.

    Bike:
  • A great 12.5 mile bike ride with a few hills.
  • Single loop bike for 2011. 

    Run:
  • 5k run with awesome views of the lake.
  • A spectacular finish on the beach.

  • Technical Race Shirts for first 300 registered.
  • Every finisher receives an award.
  • Smoother Race Check-in planned for 2011.
  • Ample course water.
  • More police to support complete road closures this year.
