The STRIVE Youth Splash & Dash will be a safe and fun event that focuses on participation and not competition for all ability levels. This short course Aquathon consists of a swim in a 3ft pool followed by a run on a closed course trail. Distances include Ages 7-10 (100m swim and 1K run) Ages 11-15 (200m swim and 2K run) and Ages 16-17 (300m swim and 3K run). All Young Athletes will receive an event shirt & a finisher medal.
ADDITIONAL INFO: The Whitehall Pool & Tennis Club has a family friendly facility where we will have swim lanes established for all ability levels with multiple lifeguards to ensure the safety of the young participants. The run portion of the race is performed on loops within the local community with adult supervision.
USAT Membership: You must have an annual USAT Member to participate or must purchase the membership during the registration. ($10 annually and select STRIVE 2 TRI JR TRIATHLON CLUB as you club affiliation)
LITTLE ONES FUN RUN: Register onsite for a FREE Fun Run for those 6 years old and younger (50yds). Fun Run starts at 7:30 a.m. Our little participants in the FUN RUN can sign up on race day and receive a finisher medal as well.
