_ 2017 Kids Fly Tri:
Huntsville's only "open water" kids triathlon! (The "pond" is chlorinated but certainly looks and feels like authentic open water!) The whole race is held on the property of the US Space and Rocket Center, Aviation Challenge. This is probably the most unique race setting you'll find anywhere in the country! The bike course is on closed roads, so no cars! The run is mostly hard packed gravel and grass. Spectators enjoy watching the whole race on covered bleachers.
