- Our mission is to give all athletes an opportunity to feel what competing in a triathlon would be like while encouraging them to go on to compete in a larger, outdoor triathlon. This triathlon is also a fundraising event for the student organization, Pro-Rec, that will help fund their way to state and national conferences.
Course Information:
Instead of the traditional distance based triathlon, we will be doing a time based triathlon. It will consist of the following: 20 minute swim, 20 minute cycle, and a 20 minute run.
All of the triathlon will be done inside of the Texas State University Student Recreation Center.
Beginner triathlete? No worries. Participants are encouraged to stop and take breaks whenever needed. The swim will be done in a 25 yard lap pool, cycling will be done on stationary cycle bikes, and the run will be held on the indoor track.
