Conquer the Mountain

Mud on the Mountain offers athletes a chance to get down and dirty atop the beautiful Laurel Highlands. The course winds its way up, down and through some of the most challenging terrain in Pennsylvania.

If you are ready to tackle the Laurel Highlands, Mud on the Mountain is the event for you. Join scores of others as you test what you are made of on the slopes at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, the largest ski and four season resort in Pennsylvania. Across more than seven miles of body-breaking terrain you will traverse ponds, scale boulder fields, climb your way over obstacles and claw your way up impossible inclines. After working to destroy your body, stick around for the Recovery Party in the Foggy Goggle, pamper yourself in the Trillium Spa and dine in one of the resort’s amazing restaurants, including Helen's, which offers upscale dining in a uniquely rustic setting.

The first heat will start at 8 a.m., May 13, 2017, at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

Lodging
Before you tackle the seven miles of mud and certainly afterwards, you are going to be exhausted and in needed of some relaxation. Our Mud on the Mountain hotel package will allow you to get your rest before you take on the course and the opportunity to get a good night’s sleep and help your body recover after you rip it up on the mountain!

Put together a team for Marathon on the Mountain and each of you could win a free trip up the mountain during ski season.

Put together a team for any of the Marathon on the Mountain races and each member of the team will increase the chances of winning great prizes for every member of the team. The more team members, the greater your chances of winning one of three great prizes when the snow falls. Racers in the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K events are all eligible.

Running in November can help you enjoy the 2016-17 ski season at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Each team member's name will be entered into a drawing to win the following for everyone on their team.

• FIRST PRIZE - A pair of lift tickets for any day of the 2016-17 ski season at Seven Springs Mountain Resort for each member on your team.
• SECOND PRIZE - A lift ticket for any day of the 2016-17 ski season at Seven Springs Mountain Resort for each member on your team.
• THIRD PRIZE - A ticket to the tubing park at Seven Springs Mountain Resort during the 2016-17 season for each member on your team
