COLORADO TRIATHLON SWIM COURSES (750 Meters & 1500 Meters)
The triathlon courses for the Colorado Sprint Triathlon will take place in and around Boulder reservoir, offering breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains only miles away. The swim course is rectangular shaped, with the swimmers traveling in a counter clockwise direction. Participants exit the water at the southern end of the beach and follow the swim exit chute and blue carpet into transition! The water temperature at Boulder Reservoir normally ranges in the mid 60s this time of year.

The bike course for the Colorado Sprint Triathlon will take athletes on a clock-wise circumnavigation of Boulder Reservoir. After Neva rd athletes will head south on 63rd and face a few rolling hills before a flat and fast return section on 119! Overall this is a very beginner friendly course, but great for the seasoned veteran to challenge themselves to a new sprint triathlon PR!

The bike course for the Colorado Olympic Triathlon will take athletes on a similar course as the the sprint, but instead of heading east on Neva riders till continue north on 36. After a few more rolling hills riders will descend down Nelson rd for a fun and fast downhill section before hitting the rollers on 63rd ave. Overall the is a beginner friendly Olympic distance course and a great warm-up for longer late season events!
