The Pigeon River Classic starts in beautiful Olen Park which features massive sugar maple and spruce trees and the undulating Pigeon River. The half marathon features four bridge crossings of both the Pigeon and Embarass Rivers. The half marathon and 10K courses take runners on scenic tours of rural countryside that includes forests and family farms. Much of the course follows the Pigeon River. The 5K is a flat, fast loop through neighborhoods near Olen Park. The event is family friendly, featuring a 5K Walk and Kid's 1 mile in addition to the race distances of Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. The race supports cross country teams at the Clintonville Middle and High Schools.
