Indoor Triathlon at West Wood

DATE Sunday, March 20, 2011, 8am to 12pm

LOCATION   West Wood Health and Fitness Center

    2900 Golf Road

    Pewaukee, WI 53072

    (Access road north of Highway I-94 between Country T and County G exit)

FORMAT    Race is based on athletes total swim, bike and run distance

    10 person waves start every 30 minutes

    Wave start times to be assigned based on registration date/time.  Start times to be posted on the West Wood web site at http:westwood.prohealth.photobooks.com/

Swim10 minutes   25 yard indoor pool
    5 Lanes, 2 athletes per lane
    Total 1/2 pool lengths determine mileage
    Transition 10 minutes to bike

Bike 20 minutes   Indoors on new stationary Keiser bikes
    All competitors use the same bikes, no personal  trainers
    All in the saddle riding, No clip in shoes
    Bike computer calculated miles based on effort
    Transition 5 minutes to run

Run 15 minutes    Indoor track

    Total laps determine mileage (11 laps / mile)
    Full laps and quarter laps are credited

Scoring -Total distance of swim, bike and run

AWARDS    Top 3 overall male and female (Based on distance)

PERKS    Technical t-shirt, energy foods and beverages for all athletes

FEES    Members $40  Non-Members $50
    Late fee ($15) for registrations after March 7^th,  2010

REGISTRATION   (Maximum 80 participants)

    Registrations must be received by March 15^th
    On-line registration at  www.westwoodfitness.org. 

    Must be 18 years or older. Transfer of registration available. No refunds. 
    Event day registration allowed if space is available.  (Late fees apply)
