Challenge Wanaka, the world’s most scenic iron distance triathlon is set against the lake and mountain backdrop of Mount Aspiring National Park in New Zealand’s South Island.

the stunning 226 km course which features a 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and 42.2km run.
The swim leg is the crystal clear waters of Lake Wanaka followed by a one-lap bike leg visiting three of the alpine lakes in the Southern Lakes region.
The ride is fast with a few small climbs and many flat sections, taking athletes deep into the heart of Lord of the Rings country.
The run is over two laps and once again athletes are treated to amazing scenery along a lake and riverside track.
