- A rugged early-season bike race on the dirt roads south and west of Ann Arbor.
- For the road rider, its a way to experience the European tradition of tough Spring classics. For the mountain biker, think early season race training this is a race on dirt roads to prepare you for upcoming trail races.
- Triathletes - test your fitness before the summer season starts.
- And runners, heres a challenging alternative to beating yourself up on the roads. Staged from the picturesque village of Manchester, just 25 miles southwest of Ann Arbor.
- Take a step back into Americas rural past. Quiet, beautiful but man, those hills!
- Then join us as the village stages a street party, just for you.

THE CLASSIC. 36.63 miles. Includes two laps of a 15.5-mile loop with nearly 4000 total feet of climbing. Two trips down (or should we say up) the infamous Bemis Corridor with the devilishly steep Three Sisters. Two grinds up the insidious Maple Grade. And just two miles of pavement in the entire course. The rest? Hard-packed gravel - except where it isnt so hard-packed. Tough enough if the weather cooperates but who knows what well get in mid-April. Sun, rain, snow, slush take your pick. Oh, and did we mention the wind?
THE CUP. 10.12 miles. One lap of a smaller loop. Not quite as hilly, but a good challenge for the less-experienced. Youll pass the locally renowned Alber Orchards & Cider Mill, and grind up Maple Grade. Same lottery for road conditions and weather, however.

Individual and team awards, plus a commemorative t-shirt for all participants. Note that this is not your usual team scoring: extra points for female team members and team members over 35!
