- Compete for the Cause! The Stevens Point Area YMCA will host the 3rd annual Point Duathlon, presented by Cellcom, to benefit the YMCA's chronic disease programming. The Kids' Duathlon will take place on Friday, July 14. Both events are held at the Allen Center on beautiful UWSP campus.
Course Information:
The adult course consists of a 2 mile run through campus, a 16.5 mile flat bike course on country roads north of Stevens Point, followed by a 2 mile run around Lake Joannis in beautiful Schmeeckle Reserve.
The kids' course (ages 7-12) consists of a 1/4 or 1/2 mile run (depending on age group), 1.5 or 3 mile bike, followed by a 1/4 or 1/2 mile run.
