Adventurous Concepts (AC) is hosting a charity race to benefit the Alzheimer's Association whereby all proceeds will be donated to the not-for-profit organization. I am committed to do something to help find a cure for Alzheimer's - and you can help!
Your mission is to get yourself and a few others to race thru South Beach. Make a team of two, three, or four with friends, daughters, sons, parents, siblings, coworkers, or get the boss on board as a team building exercise. This event is doable for anyone, athletes and non-athletes alike. Great candidates are those that want to have an especially good time.
You'll count on your collective wisdom to develop race strategy, plan your route, and make key decisions. The team to most quickly figure out clues, arrive at the designated locations, complete required tasks, and cross the finish line wins. You can walk, run, or take public transportation to arrive at checkpoint (CP) locations.
Your team will be given a clue sheet just prior to race start, which will require you to decipher 10-15 clues. Each clue represents a specific location and the team's task is to follow the instructions on said sheet. Don't be surprised if, at some locations, you are tasked to do a wacky or not so wacky activity. The course is estimated to take between 1.5 - 4 hours to complete depending how quickly you move and your decisions.
If you want to dress up in a costume to express yourself or just add color to the festivities, go ahead.
All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
