2011 Splash, Spin, Sprint Indoor Triathlon:

  • This event is great for those just looking to get their feet wet or for those wanting a good training day.
  • The race has been developed by a certified USAT Race Director and coach.
  • Awards will be presented to the following: top male, top female, best time 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
  • All participants will receive a t-shirt and "schwag bag" and are invited for refreshments during the awards ceremony after the event.

    2011 Kids Splash & Sprint Aquathlon:

  • The kids indoor aquathlon is designed to introduce youth to the sport of triathlon.
  • For safety reasons, there is no bike portion to this event.
  • All participants receive a t-shirt, "schwag" bag, and prize.
  • Ages are based on USAT age standards.
  • Course Information:


    2011 Indoor Tri Race Course:

  • Participants will begin in individual waves based on 100 yard swim time. First leg is a 275 yard serpentine pool swim in our 25 yd Fitness Pool.
  • Transition areas will be in the locker rooms.
  • Participants will then ride 8 miles on our spin bikes in the Group Fitness Studio.
  • Finish the race by heading to our outside track for a 2 mile run.
  • Timing will be kept manually and results will be available at the end of the event.

    2011 Indoor Aquathlon Race Course:

  • Participants will swim 2 per lane and swim distance will be based on age. Kickboards may be used, but no other flotation devices.
  • Transition area will be on the pool deck.
  • Run will take place on the outdoor track.

    From the South. 
    Take I-81 North to the Port Republic/JMU Exit (#245).  Turn left (West) onto Port Republic Road.  Turn left (South) onto South Main Street/Rt. 11 for approximately 2 miles.  Turn left onto Huffman Street and follow right, past Valley Blox, to Stone Spring.  The Wellness Center is on the right before the bridge crossing I-81.  Visit RMHWellnessCenter.com for further directions.

    From the North.
