2011 Oxbow Triathlon:

This early season sprint tri is a great warm up for the Galveston and/or New Orleans 70.3 and is a terrific way to kick off the season!.

It will most certainly be wetsuit legal unless Louisiana experiences an unprecedented climatological event that exceeds all global warming expectations.

Flat, fast, and fun! Join us in New Roads for a fantastic event!

Course Information:

Swim: An open water, out and back in the clam waters of the False River.

Bike: Flat and fast, out and back. The roads are not "new" as the name of the city may imply but they are typical for rural Louisiana.

Run: Again flat and fast, out and back.

We will endeavor to have as much traffic control as possible but the roads are not closed so you'll need to be aware of the surrounding conditions.
