2011 Gear West Duathlon
When: Sunday, May 22, 2011 First wave starts at 8:00am.
Where: Orono Intermediate School, Orono, MN (click here for a map)
What: A run-bike-run event for every level of multisport athlete.
Who: Put on by Gear West Bike & Triathlon and Gear West Run & Ski.
Distance: 5k run/28k bike/4k run (run course) (bike course).
Entry Fee: $47 for individual w/ shirt
$42 without a shirt
$67 for team with shirts;
$57 without t
(After May 1st--$52 with t-shirt; $47 w/o; $72 for team w/cotton t; $62 w/o)
(Saturday and Sunday late registration if available[21st & 22nd] is $57 and $87)
Packet Pick-up: Saturday at Gear West Bike 10-5, Sunday 6:30-7:45am at Race Site.
Age Group Awards: Top 3 in each 5 year age group will receive awards.
Prize money to top 5 overall for both men and women and top masters (40+).
$1,100.00 total prize money goes out.
We are, as always, giving away a Qunitana Roo Kilo complete bike and QR Ultrajohn Wetsuit, Gear West Gear Bag, and a Kurt Kinetic Road Machine Trainer
