More Info: Packet Pick Up will be at Fit2Run at the UTC Mall on Thursday February 2nd and Friday February 3rd from 2-9pm. Day of run registration will be available. Cash or Check only. Parking on event day is FREE TO ALL! Please follow parking staff instructions upon arrival. Parking will be near the Regatta Island. The 5k Course will be a down and back which will start on Regatta Island and go past the playground and down to the end of the rowing training route and back. 

Day of Registration will start at 6am

5k will start at 7:15am

1 Mile Fun Run will start at 8:30am

Why are we doing this run?

On November 8, 2016, Amendment 1 was put on the ballot to deceive voters in Florida. This Amendment was funded primarily by monopoly utility companies. Through a grassroots and social media campaign, we were able to expose the truth and defeat Amendment 1! FlaSEIA truly appreciates the support of all who helped to get the word out and shoot down this amendment which would have been detrimental to the solar industry in Florida. We won, now LET’S RUN! Our mission is to continue to educate the general public of the importance of going solar and to raise funds to continue moving the needle for solar in the state during legislative session this year!

Direction to the regatta island from the NORTH: From I-75 take University Parkway, Exit 213. Drive WEST on University Parkway approx. 0.3 miles. Turn SOUTH (left) onto North Cattlemen Road (traffic light). Drive approx 0.5 miles, following signs and pass thru 3 traffic circles. Continue SOUTH on North Cattlemen Road to the regatta island. Facility will be on your
right. Follow parking staff instructions.

Direction to the regatta island from the SOUTH: From I-75 take Fruitville Road, Exit 210. Drive WEST on Fruitville Road. approx. 0.2 miles. Turn NORTH (right) on North Cattlemen Road (traffic light). Drive approx 2.2 miles to the regatta island. Facility will be on your right. Follow parking staff instructions.
