This race is definately for all but wanted to create a race for those in the DC & Federal Goverment who truly "RUN THE NATION" Thank You All For Your Service.
This will be a Walk / Run at Flether's Cove located at 4940 Canal Road NW Washington, DC 20007 On November 4, 2017 at 8:00 AM Sharp.
Each participant will get a custom t-shirt to remember this 2nd year event for years to come.
REMEMBER: It's always fun to walk or run in groups. The Department that registers the most participants takes the GIANT 4 Foot Trophy back to their Department until next year. Each year the Department with the most participants gets to brag by earning the trophy for 12 months.

Event details and schedule
Time: The race will begin at 8:00am
Course: Will be an out and back 1.55 miles out and 1.55 miles back) on the Capital Cresent Towpath beginning at Fletcher's Cove
Bib Pickup - Will begin at 7:15am at the race location
Parking - There is plenty of parking at 4940 Canal Road.
Bag Check - There will be a free bag check at the starting line
Awards - The Department with the most participants will get to take back to their office a 4 foot trophy indicating your department had the most participants In 2017.
In addition the the above, each participant will get a custom T-Shirt for signing up.
Race Time Results - Will be posted on www.dcrunningclub.com website after the race
