1-mile ocean swim at La Jolla Shores Beach followed by a 10K on loop course) on flat-packed sand. Relays allowed. Age-group awards. Refreshments provided by Jyoti-Bihanga Vegetarian Restaurant. A fun, classic San Diego event now in its 33rd year!
Course Information:
Swim course is an out-and-back from La Jolla Shores Beach (new swim course for 2017). Run is on a loop course on flat-packed sand along the waterlines (as tide goes out).
Directions:
Off of Interstate 5 or Hwy 52 in La Jolla just north of San Diego. Plenty of parking in the early morning at La Jolla Shores Beach parking lot or on adjacent streets.
