2011 Oldham County Mini-Triathlon:

  • Our USAT sanctioned Mini-Triathlon is held on September 10th at Wendell Moore Park.
  • The event includes a 400-meter pool swim, a 10-mile bike ride on a non-closed road course and a 3K run that includes firm surfaces and short cross-country segments.
  • The race costs $45.00 per individual and $75.00 for three-person teams. Non-USAT members must add $10.00 per participant to cover one-day insurance.
  • The top two finishers in a variety of age groups as well as the team, men & womens overall winners receive awards.
  • Registration begins July 1st and must be turned in by August 24th by 2:00 p.m.
  • Maximum participation is 200 entries.

  • The 400 meter SWIM takes place in the Oldham County Aquatic Centers 25-meter outdoor pool with the participants starting every 30 seconds based on their estimated swim time.
  • The 10-mile BIKE course is out and back with some hills and few turns.
  • The 3K (1.86 mile) RUN course is out and back with a loop in the middle. It is slightly hilly and combines cross-country and firm surfaces. There will be water stops along the route.
