6-10: 50 meter pool swim - 3 mile bike  - 0.5 mile run 

11-15: 100 meter pool swim - 6 mile bike(2 loops)- 1 mile run(2 loops)

Course Notes:

The swim is in beach/pool area with lifeguards on duty (not in the lake where the adults swim on Sunday). 

The bike is on nice concrete urban road with cones separating kids from cars along with police support. The course is slightly hilly, but fun!  On the run course there will be an aid station equipped with water and Powerade.

The course officially closes at 11am for all participants.

Race morning packet pick up will be available from 6:00am to 7:00am for an additional $10.

All finisher's will receive a finisher's medal. Competitive Category athletes will be eligible for top three awards in their divisions.

Every participant must show photo ID and proof either of USAT annual membership.  If one of these is not provided at packet pickup, the participant will be required to purchase an annual membership to pick up his or her packet, regardless of whether or not he or she already has a membership. ($10 for youth).

USAT YOUTH RACING RULES 

In addition to the USAT Youth Racing Rules, please review the following rules thoroughly and make sure your child is prepared for race day - all USA Triathlon rules WILL be enforced: 

• No flotation devices may be used during the swim.
• No training wheels are allowed on the bicycle.
• Only standard drop, straight, or curved handlebars are allowed.  No aero or time trial bars may be attached to the bike or used during competition.
• No disk wheels or wheel covers are allowed.
• No time trial, “chrono,” or “aero” helmets with a tail may be used.
