- Now in year 7 the Shenandoah Epic adventure race has become one of the must-do adventure races every year. Whether you are a returning athlete or trying a 24-hour race for the first time, this is definitely an event you want on your 2017 calendar. With nearly 90% of new terrain to explore and a format turned on its head from previous years, the Shenandoah Epic will dish up some challenging trekking, biking, and paddling that will test teams for a full 24 hours. With both optional and mandatory checkpoints on the course, seasoned adventure racers and those new to the sport will be able to plot their adventure to match both skill and endurance level.
We also are offering 12-hour (Strong), 3-hour (Tenderfoot, or running and paddling only (AquaBlaze) events over the weekend!
