_ 2017 Peasantman Steel Distance Triathlons:
Peasantman is a swimming, biking and running race (triathlon) that is bringing longdistance triathlons back to the ‘common’ racer and is extraordinarily affordable. The sport of triathlon has grown so much in recent years that it has caused entry fees and periphery expenses to climb exponentially. Pushing the sport further away financially from many who enjoy it. Peasantman represents the community, charity, sponsors and of course, the participant. While being a much more affordable alternative to other longdistance triathlons, the event itself will still provide athletes with a competitive and exciting venue. Our goal is to encourage representation of triathlon brands, local and regional business sponsors to make the event enjoyable for everyone, especially the communities in which we participate.
There are awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group for both male and female. The top overall male and female in each event receive a large trophy or plaque. Peasantman is an event for all ability levels, from beginner to elite. Be prepared to be Knighted (half and full finishers). There are also half and full aquabike races.
