2011 Caine Halter Family YMCA Triathlon:

  • A third year sprint event held at the Caine Halter Family YMCA in Greenville, SC, this triathlon will be a perfect starting point for any first time triathletes out there.
  • It also will be a great way for seasoned triathletes to test their speed on this fast and criterium style course.

    • Course Information:

  • The event will begin with a 300 yard Pool Swim in the outdoor pool at the Caine Halter YMCA.
  • From there a short run to transition will take athletes onto the bike.
  • The bike course will feature many closed streets making for a safe and exciting event. The 9 mile course will consist of 3 fast loops before returning to the YMCA for an equally fast run.
  • This out and back style course will be run entirely on city sidwalks and the beautiful Swamp Rabbit Trail skirting along the Reedy River. Flat and fast is the name of the game on this 5K.
