2011 Panther Creek Off-Road Duathlon:

  • Morristown, TN Off-Road weekend at Panther Creek State Park.
  • Duathlon Saturday with 5K Run, 8.5 Mile Mtn. Bike, 5K Run.
  • Enjoy a cookout Saturday night & free camping.
  • Sunday brings trail runs of 10K & 5K distances.

    • Course Information:

  • Trail runs and mountain bike rides will be on posted trails of Panther Creek State Park.

    • Directions:

    Directions To Panther Creek State Park:

    From West on I-40:

  • Travel through Knoxville and take Exit 394 (Hwy. 11E North).
  • Go about 35 miles to left at BP Gas Station onto Panther Creek Rd. Approx. 2.5 miles to right on boat ramp road to race site.

    From North on I-81
  • Take Exit 12 (Hwy 160). Travel North on 160 to Hwy. 11E.
  • Turn right and then take the next left at BP Station.

    From Gatlinburg:
  • Get on I-40 East and take Exit 417 (Hwy. 92).
  • Travel toward Jefferson City. At the light, turn right (Hwy. 11E North).
  • Left at BP Station noted above.

  • Free camping Saturday night and cookout featuring hamburgers & hot dogs.
  • Folks are asked to "bring-your-own-side" to share with the group.
